2025 UFL Season: Week 4 Players of the Week

Week 4 of the UFL is complete with the league coming off its best series of games this season. Week 4 had it all. Special Teams standouts, dynamic Quarterback play, and Defensive scoring to give fans a taste of what is to come for the rest of the season. With that being said, Alt-Football Digest took it upon themselves to hand out Player of the Week honors for those who have distinguished themselves from their peers.

Offensive Player of the Week: Michigan Panthers QB Bryce Perkins 15/22 200 Passing Yds 2 TDs, 7 Carries 45 Rush YDs

Perkins returned to his top QB spot at the top of my QB rankings along with leading the Panthers to another win. The former Rams QB continues to dazzle Defenses with his legs, while also starting to get more comfortable pushing the ball down the field. Perkins has become the clear front runner for the UFL’s MVP, and should continue to progress his passing attack as the season continues.

Honorable Mention: Zaquandre White Houston Roughnecks, Jalan McClendon Houston Roughnecks, Matt Corral Birmingham Stallions, Jordan Ta’amu D.C. Defenders

Defensive Player of the Week: Arlington Renegades DE Chris Odom 4 Tackles, 2.0 Sacks, 2 TFLS, 1 FR, 1 TD

Odom had a game changing performance in Week 4, starting it off with a fumble recovery for a TD. He followed that up earning Two sacks of his own, while also putting pressure in the face of Max Duggan all game. Arlington totaled Six sacks on the day, with Odom consistently being the cog that pushed the Defense forward. After recovering from a torn ACL in 2023, Odom is following up his All-UFL 2024, with another equally dominate performance.

Honorable Mention: Frank Ginda Michigan Panthers, Leon O'Neal Jr. Houston Roughnecks, Jordan Williams San Antonio Brahmas, Kyahva Tezino Birmingham Stallions, Willie Harvey St. Louis Battlehawks, Ajene Harris Arlington Renegades, Tavante Beckett San Antonio Brahmas

Special Teams Player of the Week: San Antonio Brahmas wr Mathew Sexton 3 PR 107 YDs 1 TD

Sexton had one of the most dynamic plays this year putting together an 83-yard punt return that would end up being the difference in the Brahmas-Defenders match up this past week. In a game with so much fluidity for the Brahmas, Sexton proved to be the difference in them getting their first win of the season.

Honorable Mention: Mike Rivers Houston Roughnecks, Rodrigo Blankenship St. Louis Battlehawks, Marquette King Arlington Renegades, Andrew Mevis Birmingham Stallions, Matt McCrane D.C. Defenders, Brad Wing San Antonio Brahmas
